Translation:
Many seasons have passed by
With quick steps since then
When the white snow colors the city
Let me stay by your side
Though I may bother you
Again and again

It was true that she couldn’t forget the incident but she had forgiven him for being a cheater. She was forced to break up with him because of the third party. She remembered that incident clearly.

The day she broke up with him was a day before his birthday. She bought a very special present for him two days before his birthday. It was a soft toy, a cute a little cat. She thought that the cat could play the role of her, accompany her boyfriend when she was not by his side. She thought it could be the best present because the cat will be a symbolic of her. She told her best friend that she would be giving him a cat as a present and she told her best friend not to tell him that what present she would give him.

One day before his birthday, she went to the post office after school, just to send him her present through post. Unfortunately, she was too late. The post office was closed but the main post office was still in service. The main post office was way too far for her but she thought the present should reach his home on his birthday. She decided to take a ride to the main post office by train and it would take her a whole day to reach there. She wanted post it on that very day because she could not pass the present to him on his birthday since she would not be free but she was stopped by her best friend.

‘I don’t think that this act is so-called romantic. You’re so naïve. Do you think that he will appreciate what you have done for him?? Will he?’ her best friend asked.

‘But I love him very much…’ Chinatsu explained. ‘And furthermore it will be meaningless if he receives that in the day after his birthday. It must be on his birthday.’
